What is Victorian Virtual Emergency Department?

Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED) is a public health service for non-life-threatening emergencies.

How you access

VVED can be accessed via the link below from anywhere in Victoria, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be connected to a team of emergency nurses and doctors who are trained to assist you. Interpreter services are available for patients who prefer to speak their own language.

Presentations to SGH Urgent Care Centre with an Australasian Triage Score of 4 or 5 (non-urgent)  between 6.00pm and 8.00am the next day will be connected with the VVED via video call whilst in our care.
