What we do

The AOD service provides confidential support, assessment, counselling and withdrawal from problematic alcohol and other drug use. The service is provided by specialist AOD counsellors and nurses from Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) who work with clients to plan their withdrawal and recovery.  Clients can choose home based withdrawal or hospital based will be supported by the AOD staff.

How you access

Anyone wishing to access this service can self-refer by contacting Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) on 1300 022 760. A GP referral is not required.

The service can be provided at home or at the SGH Community Health Centre.

Who can use our service?

The service is available to individuals with alcohol or other drug problems.

Are there any fees?

This service is provided free of charge.
