Basic nail care for seniors provided by Enrolled Nurses.

What we do

South Gippsland Hospital has a foot clinic that can provide you with basic nail care. To be seen in the foot clinic you need to have seen a podiatrist in the last 12 months, with the podiatrist deeming your foot care as low risk. The foot clinic is staffed by Enrolled Nurses.

Who can use our service?

The foot clinic is open to people aged over 65 years.

How you access

What to bring

  • Medicare card
  • Health Care Card and / or concession card (if you have one)
  • Previous test results or reports
  • Medicines you need to take while you are here
  • List of medicines you are currently taking (or the boxes), including medicines you have bought without a prescription, such as herbal supplements and vitamins
  • Glasses, hearing aid(s) and/or walking frame if needed
