Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinic

Information and advice from a Registered Nurse on reproductive and sexual health issues.

What we do

This service is provided by a Registered Nurse who has specialist training in sexual and reproductive health. Information and advice is provided on reproductive and sexual health issues including:

  • Menstruation and contraception
  • Adolescent sexual health
  • Cervical screening and HPV information
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • Breast health
  • Fertility awareness
  • Continence issues
  • Menopause.

Group education sessions and presentations on related issues are available.

Who can use our service?

Anyone with a reproductive and sexual health care need across all life stages inclusive of identity, gender and sexual diversity.

How you access

Self-referrals are welcome, or clients may be referred by their GP or other health professional.

The service is provided in the South Gippsland Hospital Community Health Centre.

There is a small fee associated with this service.

What to bring

  • Medicare card
  • Health Care Card and / or concession card (if you have one)
  • Previous X-ray films, scans, ultrasounds or any other test results or reports
  • Glasses, hearing aid(s) and / or walking frame if needed
