What we do

Dietitians assist people to manage, prevent and treat a range of medical conditions by working with them to develop practical, achievable dietary solutions tailored to individual eating habits and lifestyles.

Advice can be provided on general nutrition for all ages, including advice regarding diabetes, heart disease, weight loss, weight gain, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, coeliac disease, food intolerance and vegetarian eating.

Who can use our service?

Anyone aged over 18 years can access the Dietetic service.

How you access

Family or self-referrals are welcome, or clients may be referred by their GP or other health professional.

What to bring

  • Medicare card
  • Health Care Card and / or concession card (if you have one)
  • Previous test results or reports
  • Medicines you need to take while you are here
  • Adverse drug alert card (if you have one)
  • List of medicines you are currently taking (or the boxes), including medicines you have bought without a prescription, such as herbal supplements and vitamins
  • Glasses, hearing aid(s) and/or walking frame if needed
