Medical Imaging for X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan and Bone Density Scanning
Medical Imaging services are provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis to South Gippsland Hospital and the local community by South Gippsland Radiology.
The private imaging service is located within the hospital facility. A referral is required from a medical professional or chiropractor to comply with Medicare regulations.
Services include:
- X-ray
- Ultrasound (used to study a person’s internal body structures)
- CT scan (shows the body in cross-section, revealing both soft tissue and bone)
- Bone Density.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
