Our health community has a supportive volunteer team performing a significant role in patient/client programs throughout South Gippsland Hospital and Community Health Centre. Working alongside salaried members of the hospital staff, volunteers add an important dimension to patient/client care services. We believe our volunteers are proud to be associated with the hospital and community care facilities which provide a quality patient and staff support model. The staff are most appreciative of the time and effort volunteers contribute.

The concept of volunteer assistance is an integral part of health services and, upon joining our volunteer team, you can be assured that your efforts will contribute towards achieving our common objective – to provide services which facilitate, maintain and nurture a healthy community.
