What we do
Regular exercise and physical activity are important to the physical and mental health of almost everyone, including older adults. Being physically active can help you continue to do the things you enjoy and stay independent as you age. Regular physical activity over long periods of time can produce long-term health benefits.
Moovers is a strength and balance exercise group for older adults, delivered in a relaxed social environment.
Prior to attending Moovers, you will meet with the Exercise Physiologist who will conduct an assessment to help ensure exercises completed in the class are suitable for your individual needs and abilities.
Moovers groups run weekly in both Foster and Toora. Tea and coffee is provided after each group.
