Allied Health Manager, part time 0.4 EFT

Allied Health Professional, Grade 3

Position Description

A vacancy exists for a suitably qualified Allied Health Professional to provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Allied Health Department by:

·         having responsibility for financial, workforce and clinical outcomes of Allied Health and Social Support services,

·         providing professional leadership and guidance to all staff allocated to the Allied Health department,

·         working closely with senior management, the multidisciplinary health team, community members and external partners to ensure optimal Allied Health and Social Support service delivery.

Home Care Packages Case Manager, part time 0.3 EFT

Position Description

A vacancy exists for a suitably qualified health professional to provide case management services to the South Gippsland Hospital Home Care Packages (HCP) program.

The primary role of the HCP Case Manager is to provide co-ordination of care packages to assist clients to remain living independently in their own homes with appropriate support services.

The role requires:

·         well-developed needs assessment, consumer directed care planning and case management skills,

·         workforce management skills,

·         thorough understanding of contractual and statutory requirements relevant to the role,

·         understanding of services relevant to the client cohort,

·         the ability to backfill the HCP Program Manager when required.

Physiotherapist –Casual

An opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration to join our dynamic Allied Health team.
You will be providing high quality Physiotherapy services in association with other clinicians, the client and family/carers in the community setting.
We are looking to build and strengthen our allied health team by providing the successful applicant with networking and collaborative opportunities in conjunction with local facilities.
This position will be for 1 day a week, with the opportunity for increased EFT to provide backfill for our existing Physiotherapist when required.
